Murder On The Orient Express: Movie Review

The film is the 4th adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel by the same name. Based in the 1930’s.

The movie starts with the fact that our protagonist (the world famous detective Mr. Hercule Poirot) has obsessive compulsive disorder, be it his eggs or someone’s tie, he needs everything to be in sync and in order. His moustache is the icing on the cake!

In the opening scene his caliber and charisma is displayed when he could spot a thief in a church robbery and he does it in style. While Mr. Poirot plans to take a vacation in Istanbul, a case in London needs his attention and his friend offers him to a luxurious train ride – The Orient Express, soon the ride becomes another murder assignment in itself!

Overall the movie is a delight to your eyes, the cinematography, the locations, the graphics, all the actors looking so beautiful, gorgeous and sexy, its a luxurious murder mystery rail ride.

The movie boosts of who’s who of the film Industry – Penélope CruzWillem DafoeJudi DenchJohnny DeppJosh GadDerek JacobiLeslie Odom Jr.Michelle Pfeiffer and Daisy Ridley. All look stunningly beautiful! A murder has happened on the train and the murderer is on the train, the case can be easily solved since the best detective in the world is on board. Watch out as the murderer is revealed.

Look out for the amazing plot, it is neat. But if you have already read the book or seen earlier shows or movies which were adapted from the story then you may not enjoy the suspense. Still, you should go for the awesomeness it brings to your eyes! The snow, the train, the luxury, the perfectly dressed characters, all amazed me.

Let me know if you were able to guess the murdered even before the greatest detective could! 🙂
