1 Line Review: One more action packed impossible mission, made possible by our man.
Yes one more MI and we all get so excited to watch it. There is this aura that only Tom Cruise can get on the table (remember Top Gun?), that’s what makes his movies so stylish. Daniel Craig is another such actor, for me.
The opening scene of MI5 was special because Tom did that stunt himself without a stunt double. Yup, the excitement of the opening scene cannot be compared to a James Bond movie where the ordeal lasts much much longer and makes your heart beat race much faster.
Ofcourse the first MI was the best but in the recent times I liked MI4. Actually MI4 was better off than this one. The Burj Khalifa scenes were breathtakingly awesome.
Having said that, MI5 definitely lacks novelty. Its the same old opening of a safe at a secret location, highway road race and city road rage with the speeding bikes and cars. The opening aircraft scene was only getting exciting when it ended! But sure the use of gadgets is neat.
Tom Cruise is as usual good but he sure is getting old. And it shows. Benji is our funny guys keeping the humour quotient intact. Rebecca gave a OK performance. Overall there was nothing outstanding in the movie.
The climax scene is funny and the Opera ordeal was thrilling. I did not have high hopes hence I did not come out disappointed.
Have fun.
