Vicky Donor Review

Unlike the perception (due to the theme of the movie), the movie is cute, funny and delivers a message to the society without getting vulgar or insensitive at any point in time.

Ayushmann Khurrana has done a very fine job, Yami Gautam is amazingly beautiful and does justice to the role (you will be convinced she is a bengoli) and Annu Kapoor just gave rebirth to his acting career!

Two other good finds are the mother and the grandmother of Vicky. Dadi will particularly impress you with her forward thinking and 1 liners – you will laugh your heart out!

The Bengoli’s and Punjabi’s family (Vicky is from a pure punjabi family) disputes have been so well showcased and detailed that you might die laughing! No wonder the director is a bong (Shoojit Sircar)!

Movie progresses in a very good pace and Annu Kapoor is the doctor who convinces Vicky that sperm donation is a totally legal and an essential work to be done for the society’s good (not to mention it generates quick, easy and lot of money!). Vicky turns out to be an Aryan race fellow, a very high quality donor! 🙂 Watch how this passion becomes a hindrance in his love life and how society treats him.

I was very impressed with the acting skills of every side actor, like all the members in the bengoli family and then the neighborhood girl who wants to marry him.

The typical Punjabi/ Delhi flavor shown would be loved for sure. This movie may not be the top movies of 2012 that you will remember, but it sure is worth watching.

Many leading movie critics ignored reviewing it but did not forgot to give Delhi Belly 3.5 stars, this one was worth 3! Guess like Paan Singh Tomar, this is getting the support of the audience and word of mouth is working.

Two of the many funny dialogues you will enjoy –

‘Main to ghar baithe baap ban raho hoon!’ and ‘Baat agar sirf bacchon ki hai toh woh main bina shaadi ke bhi kar sakta hoon!’

Go, have a good laugh.

2.Is it possible to have a poll on your Movie Review so that you will also know peoples opinion? May be on Facebook.
3.You can also include Pre-Release hype that movie created and its Post-Release Reality!
