As already described in my earlier post about the Hectic Weekends I have been experiencing, I would like to continue my story…
This is about the past weekend where the Saturday looked like a very dull day, was at home, saw 4 different movies, ate and slept! But soon all that changed in the evening as we went to Casa Picola, koramangala for dinner with our good friend Heena. Her delay in arrival gave me a chance to order for the first drink – A Cinderella (a mix of Orange and pineapple juice with raspberry) , then we ordered for a grilled chicken (plus bread), a chicken based pasta + another chicken item + some viggie stuff that Heena ate, I was least interested in knowing what that item is + 1 more Cinderella + a dessert at the end. And yes it was only for 3 people 🙂 In the background India vs Afganistan WC T20 was going on, which later on India won comfortably.
The Sunday was more hectic as I was busy eating home made chicken curry (made by my Laddu):) but the day started with me venturing out to buy 2 kg dressed chicken and the regular masala n stuff. then marinated the chicken in curd, jeera powder, haldi, mirchi, salt also i guess. left it for 2 hours then I donnu what happened after that (till the time I ate it) as I left the kitchen and only went back to eat…as making it was my wife’s job 🙂 well, to ease her job her cousins had come over plus our regular cook was also there in helping cut the onions etc! And what a curry it was maashaallah 🙂
The 2 kgs chicken was so much that 5 people ate it for lunch as well as for dinner! Good we saved some outing money there. Else every weekend we eat out and spend so much.
Things did not end here, on Monday evening my wife got stock in a bad traffic and she was not able to get any commutation from office till BTM, from where I pick her up daily, so she decided to go for a movie – we got tickets for the ‘Date Night’ the decision was not bad at all. The only sad part was that we again ended up eating out, even when there was food made by our cook ready at home 🙂 but the movie was a good time pass.
Well, the coming weekends promise to be more hectic plus fun. Vikash, Aditi, Heena and hum dono are driving upto Kemmangundi for 2 days then after that we would be in Polachi with another group of friends for a wedding … will tell you all about it as and when i experience it. C ya .
