SPY: Movie Review

1 Line Review: A super duper fun watch!

Describing this movie with just the words ‘comedy movie’ is an understatement. SPY is a hilariously hilarious movie. At no point in time I was not laughing. At least smiling.

Susan Cooper (our protagonist) is a desk agent at the CIA and help the super cool field agents wirelessly. When circumstances change, she finds herself in the field doing tracking & reporting job on the bad guys (and gals) who supposedly killed one of the agents (also the one she loved – a.k.a the super cool Jude Law). What happens from here on is a roller coster ride and every scene is super fun!

Watch out for Jason Statham who speaks so much about himself (a real FHEKU) that he will make your stomach hurt with laughter. Mind you, all his dialogues of his super achievements (which are not) are delivered with a straight face, as if he is playing the ‘transporter’ role! One of the many golibaazi included ‘I was once dead for 5 minutes’!

Indian audience would also spot a familiar hindi movie face – the ever pout girl – Nargis Fakri. She has a short role with a fight sequence included, not much.

Watch out for the Mr. Aldo, the pervert and ever ready to hit on anyone. His dialogues, his tone and the delivery is super funny.

But then we have Susan, the desk agent who shifts gear and beats the crap out of everyone around her and become the super active field agent, all in a funny way. She holds the movie together, she IS amazing in this role.

Awesome fun. You MUST watch it. This one’s a keeper.
