u can see the excitement I have to blog ….I am back fo my second post on the same day! some may say am jobless but that’s not the truth! (I find time in between my real work to do this) – coz i have my thoughts ready before I login to write and I am fast on typing…so now u see how smart I am. neways, lets not get there. The fact is that I am back !
Now, where was I ? oh ya…the newspaper! well, what can I say, it makes my mornings very interesting, am glued to it for more than half hour (if not less). It has got the most serious of the news world as well as some ‘timepass’ news, so its easy to swap between these and njoy your read!!
I also have more thoughts on how these news DTH service providers are exploiting us in terms charging us hefty money for each channel…but that is a different story hence I will come another day to discuss that! Now is the time for the traffic scenario, isn’t it?
Well, its a PAIN to drive in Bangalore – (let me start with the real fact), or atleast on Banerghatta road! – people who have got a gist here itself (and not interested anymore) can stop reading now as in the continuing para I will explain how life crawls on this road! Well, you would be penalized anyways here – if you are early there will be cars parked haphazardly on the main road (of parents) who would have come to drop off their child to their respective schools! 1 student per car. mind you – enough to create chaos. haven’t they heard of these words – “Save Fuel” and then you have multiple yellow buses moving all over – taking a U turn, reversing and so on…. so the point is – you would be punished if you hit the road early !
Am sure you know what happens if u r late!! if not then u have not been living in Bangalore 🙂 There is such a heavy traffic that you never get above the gear number 2 !! yes you read it right its gear number 2. Welcome to the world of potholes, narrow roads, non repaired roads for months etc. The electricity department/ telephone companies will know exactly when the roads will be newly laid and then only they will start their work!! what a perfect co ordination I say !! interesting. This will continue till the time the entire city would have wasted enough fuel/time/energy on such a travel, then one fine day new tar on the road will be laid – only to find that the next rain spoilt it or it was dug again ….so you see its a vicious circle…which came first puppy or the dog…oh sorry..the chicken or the egg!!
more on namma bengaluru and few interesting topics revolving it in my next….till then take good care of yourself!
thank u Kiron for your encouragement for the beginners :-). I have always loved your comments and compliments! I will surely write about cops too…very soon…!
