A must watch.
The best thing about Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (SMZS) is its approach towards homosexuality. This movie is not about a love story of how two boys met and how their love story came to being. It’s about how a family reacts to this news. Be it the father, mother, chacha, chachi and everyone else.
To be fair, I think this movie is like a baby step towards getting Indian audience understanding such relationship and accepting it. SMZS is not so much on your face, it’s not about kissing or getting physical scenes the movie revolved around educating about the situation. Since its always treated as a disease and once discovered, all get together to find medication for its eradication, since it’s not expected to be normal.

Ayushmann Khurana yet again gives us a hit and with a message. He is now a proven hit machine. Jitu and Manvi are from the stars from various web series and I already like them a lot, they have never disappointed me. The whole star cast is the winner, not only Ayushmann. All the characters have a lot of role to play and each one of them have justified their share.
The music is not so great, but you will not feel it. The story, the humour and the perfect comic timing of each character will keep you thoroughly engaged.
