God cannot be everywhere hence MOM were made.
I should warn you for prolonged shrill that the storyline will generate in your head. You will also realise soon enough that the protagonist is doing exactly what your gut feels like doing. If you saw PINK and that movie gave you sleepless nights, I promise MOM will do the same. I get restless even when I watch PINK repeatedly on TV. MOM is going to become a statement (mostly like PINK).
Sridevi, phew, what can you say about her. Only few years back she completed half a century in this world and she is only getting better! If you gave her a standing ovation in English Vinglish, you will not stop clapping when you are done with this one.
The daughter in this movie, a Pakistani actress does an outstanding job as the victim. There is one particular scene in this movie where she gives me goosebumps, I could relate to her pain. Let me know if you too get what am talking about.
There are millions of struggling actors in our country itself but…I will let that thought pass.
I expected more from Nawazudeen Siddihiqui but am guessing his character did not ask for more and he did justice to it. Knowing what kind of sharp actor he is, he never disappoints me. Have you seen Raman Raghav? If you cannot handle ‘cringi-ness’, I suggest you do not watch it. Don’t tell me later that I did not warn you. He is such an outstanding actor that he makes the character come alive!
Akshaye Khanna also did a ok job.
The ending was a bit predictable but then the execution was worth the money I paid. A special mention of the background score is needed as it keeps you involved in the movie much more than just what you are viewing.
Go watch it now!
