Kick Review

1 Line Review: Box Office main aata hoon, samajh main nahin.

How to write a movie for a super star? Simple, pack everything. Also, pick up ideas from various movies and get doubly sure that its a hit. For instance, here at Kick, you can see inspirations from Sharabi, Dhoom 3 , Desi Boys, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Krrish. And ya, some from Mission Impossible too! 🙂

Sallu fans, Rejoice. Get your kick. It is Sallu bhai all over the screen for you. And he looks good too. You can see for yourself that he has worked extra hard for this movie. I would also like to tell you that Sallu bhai has danced the most in the movie, guess more that all his previous movies combined! Wah, sone pe suhaga!

Frankly, in the first 30 minutes I was so damn bored that I wanted to come out. But things got better. Story line was not convincing enough till the climax connected the dots. Last action sequence just went over board, if you ask me.

Watch out for hilarious moments in the movie involving Sallu bhai himself, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjai Mishra. The jail scene will get your kick in the laughter department. Another ‘ghar jamai’ scene will crack you up. Then the movie ends with an awesome last scene, watch out!

Randeep Hooda, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithun Chakraborthy, Archana Puran Singh have all played good parts. Jacqueline’s solo dance in Jumme Ki Raat will stun you!

Music is super rocking. Hangover and Yaar na miley have been playing in repeat mode for sometime now, in my devices.

But Salman Khan takes the cake, one of the best movies a Sallu fan would have asked for. Danced so much, delivered great action sequences and looked charming over all.

I did not get any kick in this two and half hours movie but am not complaining. Actually I was not really looking for one.

Go for it.
