1 Line Review: Get ‘Mehfooz’ with this ‘Knight and Day’ remake.
Hrithik looks the hottest in Bang Bang. Hands down. I have given 1 extra star only for him. Bang Bang is a remake of 2010 movie ‘Knight and Day’ starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. I love that movie, fyi.
Bang Bang was released in more than 5000 screens simultaneously world wide, biggest ever for any Indian movie till date!
Clarification: I go to movies for entertainment and not look for any logic lapses, its not a documentary anyways. I was questioned back then also when I gave a 4 star rating to Dhoom 3. Guess your jaw just dropped right now! 🙂 The fact remains, I enjoyed it, loved the songs + Aamir gave a total paisa wasool performance.
Same is the case here for Bang Bang, I got delayed watching it and many negative reviews poured in by Sunday. I liked the movie, loved the way Indian movies are getting better and better with cinematography, action sequences + the style quotient.
It’s Hrithik ALL THE WAY. If he is not on the screen you will miss him. And yes, me being such a Katrina fan am still saying this! The movie kind of reminds you of Ek Tha Tiger (my review here) but this one is better off than that. All thanks to Hrithik.
The initial action sequence shot in Shimla is good and I loved it. Most of the action scenes in the movie is done by Hrithik himself – be it the flyboarding stunt or the water sking stunt which he did on barefoot being pulled by a plane.
Exotic locations makes the movie much more exciting. Shimla, Dehradun, Manali, Prauge, Abu Dhabi (action sequence involving a F1 racing car – a first for Indian movies), Phuket, Greece (check out the beautiful Meherbaan song), Delhi, Mumbai etc.
Needless to say, Hrithik will amaze you with his dance moves and song being superhits already is more like sone-pe-suhaga! 🙂 Do not leave the hall without watching his moves in the title track which plays along when the credit rolls.
Have fun!
Good review…. truely an amazing movie to watch…. get mehfoozed…..
