When the teasers came out I thought its Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’s new poster. Only to realise its a new movie! 🙂
In the age where Balika Vadhu and similar shows are being watched like the best thing ever, this movie’s focus on dowry is no big deal.
The movie starts with a summary of Dowry ka Balance sheet which has Assets (boy) and Liabilities (girl).
Badri falls in love with Vaidahi but she does not want to marry.Also, does not have the guts to fight the pressure of marriage from Badri as well as family. The first half tries to be funny but the second half drags like a Baalika Vadhu’s 1000th episode.
Alia as always looked cute and Varun as usual cool. But Alia is capable of doing much better as Highway and Udta Punjab her set her standards high. Only hoping she choose her scripts better.
I wouldn’t stress to go watch this one, it will soon be on TV, watch it then, also only when you have nothing else to watch.
BTW, if you have not seen Udta Punjab, you have no clue what Alia is capable of.
