From the very beginning the movie did not have a ‘good acting’ vibe. I saw Parineeti struggling and the hero was no good. An hour into the movie and I was getting bored and jittery. I then checked how much more I have to go thru to get thru it. I cringed to see it was still around an hour more to go. But then things started to turn, for the better and I was glued for a while. It sure ended well.
The Girl On The Train is a murder mystery, suspense thriller.
All am saying is that the acting was not the best, you lose interest in-between as the storytelling is not keeping pace but it does pick up in the end and thats why am ok to watch it. Nothing else is coming up in the theatre so you better watch this one. Also fyi, I love Aditi hydari. Also fyi, am no fan of Parineeti.
This movie is based on the book by the same name. If you really into it, do read the book, else do watch the English movie again by the same name.
I have not read the book and I sure missed the 2016 movie earlier.
