1 Line Review: This one you cannot miss!
Nightcrawler will go down as one of the most thrilling movies of 2014. You got to watch it asap. Mr. Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) will take you places, literally. I remember one time in the middle of the movie I was so engrossed that I got cold sweat! You will remember Jake’s fine performance in ‘Prince of Persia’, he was the ‘Dastan’.
Here in Nightcrawler he is the person who records theft and crime when the city is sleeping and then sells the video tapes to a news channel. Mr. Bloom’s passion and commitment towards his profession is commendable. Well, before you get carried away thinking he is good guy, hold on. He is an opportunist to say the least. He would go to any extent to get his job done (mind you, ANY). And boy, is he good at it.

He recruits an assistant for his so called video production company and how he talks to him is in itself both hilarious and inspirational at the same time! You should watch the scene where he handles a pay hike request from his assistant and how he gives him what he wants, still wins! Classic!! Sales people around the world should take notes, I say.
Nightcrawler is an all in all thriller packaged with humour, chills and a lot of creepiness! Jake’s screen presence is so emphatic that you will not move away from the movie even for a second. Do not look for logic in many of the scenes as you will be able to find a few flaws into the storyline but give it a break, its just a movie for your entertainment. So go and enjoy!
This one is going to stay with me for a while and I will watch it every time it comes on TV (like I do with ARGO). I suggest you watch this one NOW.
