| All in a day’s work! |
Today I celebrate 3 years of my association with Perfios! What a journey I must say. I have been living my dream from the day 1. Yes, am not exaggerating, it has been a daily dose of new turn of events and I have loved every minute of it.
From building my own table, helping the maid with a bucket of water, no laptop and a 3 seater sofa to sit on is what I call a very warm welcome! 🙂
Perfios operated from an 3 BHK flat that time and tables to work on were bought only when a newbie joined and it used to be his job to assemble it [like the IKEA interview:-)]! The image on your left is the actual pic of me assembling the table on 15th April 2009 at 3pm. Next to me is the Admin manager Mr. Nag who soon realized that am more than just a sales guy! 🙂 I had my shoes removed, sleeves rolled up and was all over the floor, quite literally.
The fun filled ride that started has never came to a halt and I hope it never does. The best part of being involved early in a Start-Up (with a lot experienced folks as co-founders) is the liberty that you get in your working style. Freedom of speech is phenomenal and the learning’s that you get on a daily basis is something that no business school can ever teach you.
Just to brag: I was on TV and newspaper as well 🙂 among many magazine appearances, DNA was the best! 🙂

The most exiting times have been during the road shows that I keep doing at various IT companies. Under a tree, in a cafeteria, in a closed compact room, a big hall. You think of a place and I would have put up my ‘dukaan’ in some place like that!
Having said that, there have also been days when I gave a serious thought to my decision of joining a Start-Up, but then the number of such thoughts got a major beating from an overwhelming success stories attached to my life at Perfios! The activities for which am responsible here, would have never fallen in my kitty at any job shift I would have ever done.
As the Spiderman says “with great power comes great responsibility”, here too with a lot of freedom that is given, you need to be mature enough to work hard and smart at the same time.
This is my passion, this is my life, who am I? Am a Perfiosman!
