How Do Indians Keep Themselves Healthy? Now Revealed!

Someone has to speak up. 

We Indians are masters in maintaining our health. Here are a few masterpieces I have heard which will allow me to rest my case. 


  1. I work so hard, I do more than any exercise needed for my body.
  2. I do exercise mister. I walk so much in my office. 
  3. I carry a heavy bag to office and to meetings, my body gets its share of exercise.
  4. I have a kid. Do I say more? 
  5. Maid did not turn up today. 
  6. I do dusting at home. What more needed? 
  7. Who has the time to exercise? I only get 24 hours a day.  
  8. I come home late from work.
  9. Mornings are for sleeping not for exercise (since I come home late)
  10. Sunday is the only off day I get to relax. I prefer sleeping, drinking and eating. 
  11. Oh come on, my body deserves that luxury once a week, a not gonna strain it by exercising. 
  12. I have two kids and you should shut up now! 
  13. I cannot be regular (hence I never start).
  14. Gym is expensive.
  15. Gym is too far.
  16. No no, just walking is not exercising, whom are you bluffing!?
  17. Gym subscription is a scam, I don’t want to add to it. 
  18. I eat right, I don’t need to exercise. 
  19. Last month I ran 3 kms, once. I do my bit. 
  20. I participated on the last marathon, talk to me with respect. 
  21. In between work, I stretch a lot. I do my bit, dude. 
  22. You get one life, live aaraam se.  
  23. I don’t have a good music collection to motivate me enough. 
  24. Tomorrow I will buy good shoes and then start running. Tomorrow.
