Fury: Movie Review

1 Line Review: Powerful acting, a good one time watch.

Fury is the name of the tank in the movie. The movie revolves around the tank only and not the emotion the title portrays. Director David Ayer has based his story (mind you, this is not a true story) on various incidents he heard from his relatives and friends about the World War II in Europe.

Fury is a survival story of a tank crew, the Fury tank crew. This crew includes the boss and the very talented – Brad Pitt.

The tank hits a land mine and gets immobilised. the boss decides to stay with the tank as he claims it to be his home. Others join him to become martyrs as the location where they got stuck is being crossed by a battalion of 300 SS forces. The crew stays inside the tank and plans an Ambush. They use up all the firework they have to hold their position and do as much as they can.

Do they survive the night? Was a four member team able to outnumber the 300 member enemy battalion?

Watch Fury for an emotional ending.

My all time favourite war movie has been Owen Wilson’s ‘Behind Enemy Lines’.
