Boy meets girl. Both decide to be just friends with benefits, doesn’t work out, they move away, become friends again, only to hitch each other up with someone else, doesn’t work out, get together again.
Its a typical Aditya Chopra movie with glamorous location shoots, sparkling lead actors, cool clothes and overall a very rich look to the entire movie. Since its shot almost entirely in Paris, I enjoyed being in Paris for the entire movie.
There is nothing new to the storyline. The climax scene tries to get funny, fails miserably. At times you will get a feeling of the story of Kal Ho Na Ho. But till the time it’s entertaining me, I am not complaining!
The best part about the movie is its music. I loved each and every song from the movie. Be it the title song or ‘Nashe Si Chadh Gayi’ or Je t’aime. Particularly loved the video of Je t’aime.
Ranveer is a loveable person and acts well, he started off as a loud mouth in the first scene but over all he did well. Vaani Kapoor was first spotted in Suddh Desi Romance and like her instantly. She even went to win a National Award for her role in that movie. Here in Befikre she looks super hot! Her fluent french will impress you.
Overall I enjoyed it.
