DTH services – HELP me !!

I need serious feedback on my Direct2Home service. Last year in March 2009 when I moved out of our BTM house to this new place in Banerghatta road, I thought of upgrading from the cable system to get an DTH service for my LCD. Hence with all the research and references from friends I went ahead to buy a TATA Sky for myself for Rs.2000 (installation) and then 2600 for the basic channel package, then came the flurry of PAID add-on channel packs…’Colors’ was in another package with 13 channels at Rs. 450 p.a. Sports channels are always a separate add-on package with at least Rs.50 p.m. then the so called ‘Cosmo pack’ with new movie channels like WB and few others blah blah blah…I can go on and on…

Is anybody out there listening that I need to move out of TATA Sky. I feel cheated right now!! It has become a monopoly…Once taken am stuck with TATA Sky and they are making channel packs every day for a price of course. I even called up the customer care to check if there is a return policy, but as expected there was none. 

The base pack has gone up from 2600 to 3025..for no cause at all, no new channels added, no improvement in the reception…so why should I pay extra…there was no answer at all on this and was told to write an email to help@tatasky.com – WTF – am I pleading for HELP here or what? This is simply outrageous. 

I have heard Reliance DTH is better off with their channel packages and costing, but how do I say tata to TATA!!??

Suggestions welcome.
